    Welcome

    Welcome message from the Principal

St Christopher's is an energetic and spirited community which embraces unity and a common vision for the school and parish.

Panania is a growing area in Sydney's south west. To meet the demands of the growing population, the school has expanded to accommodate three classes from Kindergarten to Year 6. We are now better placed to meet the demand for enrolments from Catholic families in the area.

Beginning school or entering a new school is a large step in the life of a child as he or she learns more about themselves, others, the world and God. At St Christopher's Catholic School we will strive to support your child's spiritual, social, emotional, physical and academic development of your child, by providing a challenging and enjoyable Catholic learning environment. We are focused on working with your children to ensure they are balanced, happy and best placed to succeed in the future.

Our teachers will assist and support you in what you have begun at home, but they will never replace you, your child's first teacher. The teachers, in their vocation as Catholic educators, have the interest of your child at heart, and will endeavour to see that everything possible is done for your child's growth and development.

Our Catholic school is Gospel based and firmly committed to Christ and to proclaiming his message. We value the involvement of our parent community. We are proud of our traditions and history, and look forward to a future of learning and growing together. The school and parish are committed to working in partnership with parents to nurture and challenge students as they grow in the Catholic faith and develop their potential.

As you involve yourself with in the St Christopher's Catholic community you will have the opportunity to meet new friends and discover new horizons. I pray that you embrace the opportunity to experience life and belonging here. May Christ walk beside us as we travel the road together into the future.

    Julie King
