Mr Patrick Morrison
Personal message: As educators, we inherit the privilege of developing in children and young people a genuine love of learning, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required of them to live purposeful and meaningful lives. Through the development of purposeful learning experiences, worthy of our students time, we aim to develop their skills in creative and critical thought, assisting in the navigation of an information rich world. Coupled with this is our Mission to know every student and inspire in them to follow Jesus’ way.
Statement of areas of responsibility: The Assistant Principal supports the Principal in promoting and nurturing the Catholic identity and Mission of the school and in ensuring excellence in educational outcomes for all students.
Professional experience: Patrick has been the Assistant Principal at St Christopher’s, Panania since 2016.
Prior to this, Patrick was a curriculum co-ordinator at St Luke’s, Revesby and held teaching positions in various other Catholic schools in Sydney and in England (London) where he spent 2 years.
Qualifications: Currently completing a Masters of Educational Leadership – Australian Catholic University
Bachelor of Education (Primary) – University of Wollongong
Professional interests: Using peer reviewed research on best practice in education to develop, in collaboration with colleagues, a reflective and dialogic learning community.
