Ms Mimi Ly

Religious Education Coordinator
Instructional Coach

Personal message: Our children are our future and as an educator and parent, I believe the greatest gifts we can give our children are our faith and an education- an education that nurtures and fosters the spiritual, moral, social, intellectual and physical development of each individual. I believe in the importance of relationships and working in partnership with our parents, the child’s first educator, to meet the child where they are at and encouraging, supporting and challenging them to be the best learner and person they can be.

Statement of areas of responsibility: The Religious Education Coordinator supports the Principal in the faith formation and development of the students and staff of the school. She also works collaboratively with the Principal, Parish Priest and Parish community to develop a vibrant prayer, liturgical and sacramental life within the school.

As a Coordinator, Mimi is responsible for the religious and educational leadership of the school. She works with the executive team to ensure excellent educational outcomes for students across the school. As a curriculum coordinator, Mimi provides ongoing support and feedback to staff to improve pedagogical practice.

Professional experience: Mimi has been the Religious Education Coordinator at St Christopher’s, Panania since 2015. Prior to this, Mimi has been an educator at St Therese, Sadleir-Miller for 8 years. During this time she was part of the leadership team and appointed as the Acting Religious Coordinator, Numeracy and ICT Coordinator.
